Bio

Having retired once from clinical and system education in a public academic medical university, I am now teaching and administering a RN to BS nursing program at Morrisville State College - a Technology College in the SUNY system - right in the geographic center of New York State. I serve on our Board of Health, and chaired the most recent county-wide MAPP process. Together, our RN to BS students and faculty of two partnered with school nurses and PE teachers to measure, collect and analyze over 3900 Pre-K to grade 12 kids in our county, and have the first primary data on child obesity prevalence in NYS. Scary! We have 3 adult children with spouses and 8 grandkids and love spending time with them all at our Adirondack Camp. My husband is recently retired as a VP of Medical Affairs at Oneida Healthcare Center.
